WHAT I DO

I am a Health and Wellness Lifestyle Specialist,  certified through the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches. I have undertaken extensive training in science-based coaching methodologies, positive psychology, and behavioral change, passing the Board exam as set by the Medical Board of Examiners – the highest accreditation for health and wellness coaching. 
I specialize in integrative lifestyle wellness, with a focus on the key pillars of health:

These are the foundation of our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. 
I work with clients to help them address concerns, and understand the impact and the connection between these fundamental aspects of wellness. We work together to identify root causes of  health and lifestyle challenges, incorporating the principles of lifestyle medicine for wellbeing at home, as well as at work. The aim is to establish a balanced, manageable, healthful lifestyle that restores, protects and enhances their wellbeing.

My Story

Why I Do What I Do

Health is everything and we all too easily take it for granted. It impacts all aspects of life - our physical and mental state, our emotions, our relationships, our family, our work.

I spent 18 years in the legal and corporate world and I have seen and experienced first-hand the consequences of neglecting health in high stress, high-pressure working environments, and then juggling this with the challenges of motherhood, family commitments and the daily hurdles of our modern day life. After having my son, I was struggling. I returned to my senior corporate role and was exhausted, anxious, stressed. Over worked, over tired, over stretched. My body was telling me something.  I had reached burnout.
I watched family, friends and colleagues struggling with the same challenges and decided that a change needed to happen. I decided to switch gears, and careers, and focus on health and wellness as restorative and preventative  care, incorporating the fundamental principles of lifestyle medicine for optimal wellbeing.  I returned to school, completed my training, and I now  support, educate and empower others to make health driven choices that restore, protect, and enhance their own mental and physical health, as well as boost their productivity, longevity, resilience, sense of wellbeing and overall quality of life.
My professional and personal experience has provided me with the necessary insight to empathize with and support my clients.
